Welcome to my website. It's a one page website and you can find some information here about the waters I recently visited and about flytying. My favourite is river fishing, but I allso like flyfishing on saltwater and reservoirs. If you have some usefull information or any questions, please send me an email. Tight lines !

Inverpolly Scotland September 2010.
A week flyfishing in the Scottisch Highlands on the Inverpolly Estate. Caught one salmon in the Garvie, two salmon and a seatrout in the Polly River and one salmon in the Osgaig. The biggest one was caught in the Polly river and measured 11 pounds en 78 cm. Three salmon a the seatrout were catched on a Ally's Shrimp double hook size #14 and the fourth was caught on a black/purple copper tube fly with a treble hook. Flyfishing on pollack in salt water from the shore in the bay resulted in two pollacks. This is great fishing because these fish are very powerful. For the river and loch fishing I used a 10 ft #7 Hardy Demon flyrod combined with a floating line and a Hardy 2 meter sinktip with a 16 lb leader, wich is more than enough. For the saltwater fishing I used a Hardy Zane 9ft #9 combined with a 450 grain sinktip flyline and a 26 lb leader. We fished the system with 14 men and caught 19 salmon this week. The waters we fished on were the Garvie, Osgaig, Polly River (devided in 4 parts), Loch Polly and the sea. Because of heavy rainfall the water level was high and is was to dangerous to go up the mountains to fish for trout in the mountain lakes. The combination of salmon fishing during the day and good Scottisch Wiskey in the evening was very good.
